Mark E

Mark is a high school student with a deep love for the piano, reaching Grade 8 of the AMEB syllabus and regularly performing at school events like the Visual and Performing Arts Night, and other school music productions. But his journey isn’t about personal accolades; it’s about sharing the beauty of piano with others. Mark believes in the transformative power of music and aspires to instil that same passion in his students.

What makes Mark unique as a teacher is his commitment to individualised instruction. Recognizing the diverse needs and learning styles of each student, Mark shies away from a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, he tailors his teaching methods to suit the specific needs of every individual. 

With humility, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching, Mark guides his students through the intricacies of piano playing. Whether it’s mastering classical pieces, exploring improvisation, or learning the most popular songs, he approaches each lesson with openness and enthusiasm. After high school, Mark wishes to attend university and explore a bachelor’s degree in either music or international relations (or both!). Other than piano, his extracurricular activities extend to playing footy on the weekends and being both an avid dog and cat lover!

Under Mark’s guidance, students not only learn to play the piano but also develop a deeper appreciation for music. He sees himself not as an expert, but as a facilitator, helping students discover their own musical voice.
