GTC has a number of experienced voice tutors in Sydney who can help you learn to sing and finally unlock your voice. We provide voice lessons Sydney wide in the comfort of your own home. Each voice teacher comes from a different background ranging from musical theatre and opera to jazz and pop. However, despite the different musical styles, all of our singing teachers place a lot of emphasis on teaching correct vocal technique right from the get go to ensure great vocal health. Through consistent vocal training you will start to find that this all comes naturally before long so you are ready to focus on your artistic development. Your voice lessons will often pair singing and performing techniques to practice vocal delivery of repertoire you are interested in. This can include AMEB and Trinity College of London exam preparation or HSC Performance practice.
Singing lessons can also be taken online or in one of our voice tutors’ studios in Sydney. This is often a more affordable option for all of our music lessons. Your voice tutor can incorporate some music theory in private singing lessons or you can choose to enrol in one of our group online musicianship courses. A good knowledge of music theory can really improve your voice training and also open more doors to writing and arranging songs of your own. Many of our private tutors are proficient in multiple instruments so you will be able to pair voice lessons with another instrument like guitar or piano.
In addition to private voice lessons, GTC offers group singing classes for beginner kids and adults. This can be a really fun way to get a solid introduction to singing and start building confidence. You will develop skills relating to breathing, pitch, articulation, projection and dynamics. As a student you will also learn the basics of vocal anatomy, how to care for your voice and how to start blending vocal registers to find some new exciting ways to use your voice. The voice tutor will be able to refer you to the right private tutor if you are interested in taking one on one lessons.

Our introductory package is a 3 lesson bundle at a discounted cost! We want everyone to love learning music as much as we do and have found this the perfect way to ensure that you are happy with your experience before signing up for the term. You know your child best! Most can handle a full-hour lesson; however, if you are strapped for time or they are 7 years old or younger and have trouble focussing, looking into one of the 30 or 45-minute lessons may be better. You will quickly find that the more time students spend with their instrument, the better they will become. So we always recommend choosing hour lessons if they can. We provide lessons in students’ homes all over Sydney and there’s a good chance that there’s a tutor studio close to you as well. If you are outside of Sydney, we also offer Online Lessons so you can be anywhere in the world and still receive top quality lessons!
