About Tutor Chris
Born into a musical family, Chris’ personal connection with music began with
his interest in classic rock and his passion for the guitar was ignited. Chris is
proficient in both acoustic and electric guitar and plays a wide range of genres,
including Rock, Metal, Soft Rock, RnB, Folk and Pop.
He started singing at the age of 14 and has performed in bands since the age
of 10, as well as being a part of several school productions including graduation
performances. Following high school, he has been performing at clubs and
pubs around Sydney as a solo and duo act, continuing to compose his own
material. He has since developed into a singer-songwriter, deriving his
inspiration from multiple genres, fusing his technical guitar ability with his
melodic pop voice.
His interest in teaching developed during high school, while mentoring younger
students as both a peer mentor and high school tutor.
Chris enjoys helping people through learning, regardless of ability, and is
competent in adapting his teaching methods to the individual journeys of
