About Tutor Austin
Austin has been playing guitar for more than fifteen years and drums for more than ten. The guitar, both acoustic and electric, remains his specialty. Located around Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Austin has been playing in diverse musical projects since the age of 13. He regularly writes, performs, and records various styles of music.
Austin has an excellent grasp of technique complemented by a strong understanding of music theory. His musical taste and playing experience span a variety of genres and musical styles such as rock, pop, metal, blues, punk, jazz, funk, and reggae. Austin has a passion for tutoring anybody who expresses interest in learning an instrument. He is open and committed to catering the lessons for each individual in order to most effectively help each student reach their highest potential.
While Austin is becoming an experienced tutor in his own right, he takes great inspiration in the teaching method and approach that was taught to him by his own guitar tutor and mentor, with whom he took lessons for 10 consecutive years.
Austin provides guitar lessons on the North Shore and Northern Beaches including the following suburbs:

- Terrey Hills
