About João
João Gabriel de Castro Nunes is a passionate pianist and teacher. Having stumbled across classical music at random, Joao fell in love with the piano. He is particularly passionate about the Baroque era, especially the works of Bach. Joao also has extensive knowledge of Jazz Piano styles and has experience teaching for AMEB exams. Originally from Brazil, where he taught piano to a variety of students over a number of years, Joao has moved to Sydney to continue to pursue his music career as a performer and teacher. He is a motivated and caring tutor who caters his lessons carefully to each student’s needs, aiming to bring out the best in them and inspire their love for music.
João provides piano and music theory lessons on the North Shore, Hills District, Inner West, Sydney CBD, Ryde, Parramatta, Eastern Suburbs, Western Sydney, South West, Sutherland Shire, South Sydney and Northern Beaches including the following suburbs:
- Mosman
- Epping
- Pymble
- Terrey Hills
- Mascot
